Hi, beauty,

Before we head over to the boiler suit, I still want to wish you guys lots of smiles, health, courage, blessings, and love. May all your wishes come true, 2020 is yours!

Update

It’s been a while since I updated you with a fashionable note here. 2019 was a really good body positivity year. I will update you on my 2019 winnings soon. But first, I need to give a big shoutout to all the women and men who stood up to speak their truth on body positivity. The body positivity movement worldwide is spreading the word to be kind to each other and to accept all bodies and to see the beauty in all of them.

The voice I use

I use my voice through my fashion sense. I hope to inspire women to be fearless, confident and coming out of their comfort zone.  For the record, I’m not here to tell you what you should or should not do. I share my vision, my journey and hopefully, you will get inspired along the way so you can make your own choices. Everyone’s story is different so take your time to find your path.

Fashion is for everyone, and your happiness does not depend on the size label in your dress. You don’t need to live up to anyone’s ideal, remember it’s your body and nobody can even judge you. And for the record, I’m not promoting obesity. Period. Fat people will not lose weight through negative comments or ignorant judgmental remarks. I always like to keep it positive on the blog and socials, but throughout the years I realized that I don’t need to bite my tongue just to keep the peace.

Like Ashley Graham once said: You are bold, you are brilliant and you are beautiful. You will not let other people’s words affect you. YOU are worthy of greatness!!
Let’s talk about fashion

Or should I say, let’s talk about the boiler suit? Although the boiler suit has a hard time establishing when it comes to street style fashion it’s still a great statement piece. Besides the fact that it’s not an easy restroom attire, (I feel you on that one), you can’t ignore it’s always a cool looking outfit.

I‘m pairing my suit with some high heel Steve Madden boots. These boots feel like vintage to me, I bought them with my first flight attendant salary twenty-one years ago. Sometimes you just have to invest in good statement pieces that are timeless.

As you might already know boiler suits were created as workwear but nowadays it’s an outfit on its own. You can layer your suit with a turtleneck underneath or you can belt it up just like I did. The black belt I’m wearing came with the boiler suit but you could easily pair your suit with a belt of your own choice.

Are you into boiler suits?
