Hi guys,

I feel like a broken record writing this down but it’s been a while since I wrote a note on the blog. I’ve been studying a lot for work lately with less time on my hands to update The Curvy Chapter. If you are reading this I’m super happy that you are still here, thank you! With all of that said I wanted to update you with a dash of fash ’cause my love for fashion will be a ‘forever mood’ that will never fade away.

If you have been following me on Instagram I’m sure you saw a lot of these pictures already. If you haven’t been following me on the gram, make sure you do as I share my every day where and about there too. Today I’m doing a fashion recap and I’m taking you with me to one of my favorite cities in the world, New York City.

The City that never sleeps

It’s been a while since I’ve visited the Big Apple and even though I’ve visited the city hundreds of times you can’t be bored with New York. With all the architecture you will find beauty and inspiration at every corner of the street.

When I wander around the city I prefer an easy outfit and a pair of sneakers. But I also like my outfit to be versatile by pairing it with heels and a blazer to create a little more formal look. Both styles were easy to achieve with this twin- set of Given Fashion.

Given Fashion is not necessarily a plus-size brand, but some of their styles are perfectly wearable when you are a bigger girl. I still hope they will expand their size range one day, but until then I don’t look at the size tag. I rather pay attention to the fabric and the fit to make it work.

Places you have to visit during your New York visit.

The most instagrammable place to visit must be Down under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. Also known as Dumbo. You can’t miss out on Soho with her historic buildings and restaurants it doesn’t get more iconic than that. You probably heard about the High Line already, it’s one of the most unique parks in the city because it used to be a train track above the New York streets. Let’s not forget about Time Square, if you haven’t been to Time Square you haven’t been to The Big Apple. Pietro Nolita is one hell of a place for the pink lovers among us. This trendy restaurant is a goal the see, make sure to put it on your list.

I hope you liked this little New York fashion recap. Are you visiting New York any time soon? Please let me know in the comment bar below. I would love to hear from you.

  1. Fashion print is very in this season and is typically a print on a fashion item, for example leopard print or floral patterns.
