Hi sweets,
In 2018 I’m opting out of resolutions and taking a more day-to-day approach to my goals. I will be taking a slow and steady path with room for missteps and plenty of self-kindness and balance.
This year will be more about mindfulness, I want to enjoy the moment without thinking or worrying about the future. I intend to make small changes in my life to reduce my stress level. I would like to build in some ‘me time‘ every now and then. With all the scheduling and things that should be done, life tends to get in the way of enjoying what I am doing at that very moment. I don’t want to beat myself up anymore and live to higher expectations especially when they are not mine. Screw that!
This might be a new year but it’s still the same me, embracing you for who you are without boundaries. No matter what shape, size or background you have. It’s all about the body positivity movement. Don’t be so hard on yourself, just start with baby steps to achieve your goals.
With all of that said, I started this year with what I love the most. Nothing beats a firm beach walk. I love the beach, and since I was there I decided to do some excercises to clear my head. Being active without feeling the pressure that you have to be active is so much more fun. I always try to do what I love, so I can keep it up without dropping out or giving up.
I often treat myself with new active wear during the year, it keeps me motivated and I love to look ‘good’ when I exercise. There is no need not to look like a million bucks these days when you enter the gym. Don’t get me wrong here, you can wear whatever you like but there’s a lot of fabulous plus size activewear out there that’s worth trying.
Like Ms mode for instance, they are taking care of business, hooking us up with trendy workout clothes that don’t bust your wallet. Now that’s a motivation to get busy, right?
I just love the shade of gray combined with the mesh detail on the shirt. You will also find mesh details on the sportlegging. The little pink details are present but not too much, I love that feminine touch. The collection consists of various items that can be layered, for both indoor and outdoor sports.
The fit is very good and true to size. I hate it when I have to pull up my pants or pull down my shirt when I exercise. I love the higher fit of the pants and also the ‘stay dry’ fabric.
