MS MODE SNAKE DRESS

I know it’s already the end of January but I still want to wish you all the best for 2019. It’s been a while since I posted anything and gave you an update about my whereabouts. I needed to unplug from the internet and all the social media channels for a while. I needed to detox my mind from all the pressure that comes with being a blogger, influencer, model or stylist.

Achievements

2018 was a very elevating year for me. I broke my wrist and started my travel journey after two years again. I also got featured in The Curvy Magazine, Mijn Geheim ( Dutch magazine) Gooisch magazine and became the brand ambassador for Savage Fenty (by Rihanna).  I mean…., that’s a lot, right?

You may have missed this all because I don’t brag about it, but boy oh boy… by the end of 2018 I needed a little break from all the hard work.

The internet can rush you, no one is posting their ‘failures’ it’s not all pretty and glamorous. Most of the time that pretty life that you see doesn’t exist.  So let’s talk about the downside, the low, the dark, the backstabbing, the snakes who don’t want you to succeed but watch everything you do.  The bulling and judgemental voices behind the scenes like ‘You are not fat enough or you are too skinny to be talking about body positivity,” really shook me up.

I took a leap to disconnect myself.

Back to base

I started this platform to empower and inspire other women. To give them a platform to be seen and tell their story. That focus shifted throughout the years to a personal fashion blog. I wanted to have fun without pressure. I’m now taking back that power. I don’t care about how many followers I have as long as you find some inspiration here and other women of all shapes, shades, and sizes can inspire you too, click here, I’m happy.

Fashion

With all of that said, let’s talk fashion. yeah!

I’m wearing this cool snake print dress from Ms mode. This upcoming season the animal print will go on strong. Besides the print, I like the versatility of this dress the most. You can also wear it as a blouse with some cool jeans and a pair of sneakers. The print of the dress is light brown so I decided to go with this red/brown chunky boots.

Because these pictures were made in Costa Rica, I chose to open up the last buttons of the dress for that little sexiness. I mean, let’s show them thighs right? If you got it, flaunt it!

I will probably wear this dress as a kaftan to the beach too. Think of it, it’s simply amazing!
