RICHARD ALLAN x H&M EXTENDED SIZES

It’s no secret that H&M is upgrading their game lately. With all these amazing designer collaborations like Richard Allan X H&M and taking a new course when it comes to extended sizes, they are really on their way to more inclusivity.

Extended sizes

I’ve already told you about the extended sizes in this previous blog. I was really curious about how their new movement would go as the stores still don’t carry a lot or any of these extended collections yet.

You can mostly shop these exclusive extended collections online and for some of us that could be a pain in the ass as we would like to feel, breath and see the fabric before buying it. I really don’t have any problems with online shopping as it provides me to fit the clothes in the comfort of my own home with good lighting. (very important)

With all that said I just want to compliment H&M with their campaigns, lately they have been putting a lot of effort highlighting diversity on their homepage too. Putting women we all can identify with on their homepage is a big plus to me.

Conscious Collection

Can we talk about their conscious collection, please?  The Conscious collection is now also available up to size 50 (EU).  I would love for them to expand that collection, as we curvy girls/women like to be conscious as well when it comes to buying clothes. So H&M, what are you waiting for?

H&M has teamed up with the most famed designers as long as I can remember. I’m wearing this dress by Richard Allan X H&M a British scarf designer who brought these avant-garde patterns into this ’60s style clock dress. I just turned 45 myself and I have to admit that I love these old school styles. It brings me back to times where everything was permitted short hair and shorter hems, psychedelic music, blue eye-shadows, and independent styles.

There are a lot of ways to wear a scarf and there are a lot of ways to wear a dress. I paired this Richard Alland X H&M dress with some vintage Sendra cowboy boots and some gold plated fashion jewelry. You can go for a loose fit but I love to accentuate my curves with a belt.
