Since the weather is still ah-ma-zing in Amsterdam, I’m almost begging for the weather to turn on us. Call me crazy, I know. I have an addiction for faux fur coats. I find them so fashionable and it seems like every time I  put one on, it just instantly upgrade my outfit. I could easily run for groceries and wear my sweatsuit with my furry coat and still look fab! (lol) And I know you will too.

Most of us encounter problems when buying a fur coat. For example, I always look like a teddy bear. They are usually too big, short, small, long or the material is downright bad. I’m already a big girl, so I don’t want to look bigger than the size I’m wearing. “Feeling me?”

Because this furry coat feels somewhat short, I had to pic my pieces and perfectly match them together so I didn’t look like big bird. Sometimes it pays off to be creative.

Enjoy!

BALMAIN COAT

I’m wearing this rather short coat from Balmain x Hm with an A-lined skirt from MS Mode. It’s all about keeping yourself warm without losing your sense of style. Wearing it like this makes my bottom part look longer, but I also look skinnier. The belt underlines my waist and kinda breaks the silhouette. The only thing that needs to happen right now, is for the temperatures to drop.

If you really don’t like a short fur coat on you, try a longer one like this.
