As the weather begins to lighten up, so does my wardrobe. I really like this season when we are talking fashion, especially all the multi-fuctional and lightweight pieces that are hitting the stores as we speak. For example, I can find countless options to style this dress worn as an oversized blouse combined with cool jeans. Majorly trending for spring, if you ask me. So, today I’m showing you my first option on how I styled this military-green dress.
I created a subtle 70’s look that I personaly love very much. Mixing lenght and different shapes, can bring you to the most amazing outcomes. I’m wearing wedges combined with these flared jeans. Because I travel so much I want my wardrobe to be fresh and vibrant. I love it when my clothes have more than just one functionality, I think that’s a win-win situation if you choose the right pieces.
To understand your own personal style, first know what you want. Learn how to upgrade your style by trying a different look or fit. You can look at my style and think : “I like her dress but not as a blouse”. Or, I would rock different kind of jeans, please do! Learn how to wear your outfits without excuses, go for what suits you. True style takes time to personalise. I’m only dropping some inspiration here on how I’m wearing certain fashion items. When I create a style, it always comes with an emotion. How I feel that day, my mood, my state of mind, that doesn’t mean it’s the right way, but at least it’s my way. Because of these swings, I love to select my clothes on how I would wear them, not only for that one day, but also for different occasions.
To me that’s being creative in multi functional dressing.
CREATIVITY IS INTELLIGENCE HAVING FUN
