People often ask me where I get my inspiration from. Besides flying all over the world, I love to go out by myself for walks. I listen to music and watch music video’s a lot. Different cultures and architecture both have a major impact on my taste, which is based on mixing. I love to mix new with old, casual with chic, grunge with glamour. I hardly get my inspiration from magazines or other blogs because I want to keep my own unique style clean.
As a fashion addict monkey, I’m always seeking for inspiration. Today I’m showing a mix of casual, chic and sporty. But also how I mix curvy fashion with a super straight size brand.
This faux suede skirt from MS mode is beyond beautiful. I love the fabric and solid color. It’s a real spring key piece to include in your wardrobe, whether you’re très chic or keeping it casual, it’s a hashtag #musthave. This blouse from ST STUDIO is my latest obsession, I just love bows! It’s a versatile piece and you can combine this with every other piece in your closet. Oh, and can I get a whoop, whoop for my playful Moshino crossbody bag. Fun right? I can’t help it but every time I’m wearing this bag, this Kelis song just pop into my head:
“MY MILKSHAKE BRINGS ALL THE BOYS TO THE YARD AND THEY’RE LIKE IT’S BETTER THAN YOURS, DAMN RIGHT IT’S BETTER THAN YOURS, I COULD TEACH YOU BUT I HAVE TO CHARGE”.
Fashion is like creating your own milkshake, you choose all the ingredients you love, you mix it and you innovate your own unique milkshake as in your own fashion style. Yeah!
